There are many reasons people play games, whether to be the very best (like no one ever was) or to relax and wind down. As the year winds down, we wanted to take a look back at the games that meant something to us this year.
There's a catch though: We want to hear from you!
Whether that be on our Discord, on your social media, or just in a conversation with your friend. As much as we want to hear from you, we also know that the more that we talk about the games that provide us comfort, the more open it makes people to relate on the same level!
We know that games are important to our users-- that's why you're here after all-- but we want to tap into the why.
The game that has been really influential for me this year was Casette Beasts. The music specifically in that game has calmed me down and let me enjoy a game fully for the first time in a while. With the style of the game, it is really easy to stay stimulated without becoming overly such and that is supported by the music as well. The story is also funny and sweet, but earnest at times.
Involve your community and your close support circle in your love of video games! It might just be the thing that helps them with the tasking ordeals of adulting or the busy and burnt-out life of a student. If games help you, they can help others.
